Starting the year with goals, not resolutions
As we step into 2019, most of us tend to start the new year off with resolutions; lose weight, eat better, go to the gym, etc. Unfortunately, many of those resolutions fall apart within the first 30 days. Instead of making resolutions, I'd like to encourage you to make obtainable long & short term goals.
We have a goal this year to close 600 loans. Now it would be wrong for me to expect that goal to be reached by the end of January, so the short term goal is to do 50 per month. We all know that the market fluctuates, so I have to be realistic and understand that the number may go down one month, but also hopeful that it will go up in another. The articles below state that mortgage applications rose 13.5% compared to last week, and interest rates are dropping, so it sounds like a good start!
